1. Data We Collect
Account data: if you create an account, we store your email address and authentication tokens. We do not require your real name.
Tip submissions: when you submit a tip via the contact form, we receive the fields you choose to fill — which may include your name, email, the subject company, and your message. You may submit anonymously by omitting identifying fields.
Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) collected for security and analytics.
Cookies: we use essential cookies for authentication and session continuity. We do not sell data to third parties.
2. How We Use Your Data
To operate the platform, publish research, respond to tips, and improve our content. Tip content may inform original reporting but is never republished without explicit consent.
3. Tip-Line Confidentiality
Tip submissions are treated as confidential. Access is restricted to authorized editorial staff. We do not share tipster identities with the companies that are the subject of a tip, nor with third parties, except where compelled by valid legal process. See our Tip-Line Confidentiality Policy for detail.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Tip records are retained for the period needed to verify, investigate, and (where applicable) publish — and then archived securely. Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Where applicable under GDPR/UK GDPR, you may also request data portability and object to processing.
6. Contact
